Application for enrolment

A binding agreement shall arise between you and Career Academy Australia PTY Ltd, which shall be governed by the laws of the Australia, when you accept the Terms and Conditions by completing the online application and enrolment process. The name that will appear on your invoice will be Career Academy Australia PTY Ltd. 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment plans, direct bank transfer or credit card payments.

Refund Policy – what happens if I want to cancel?

Students are deemed to be enrolled in a course when they have accepted the Term’s & Conditions as advised by the student adviser. This is further confirmed once approval to take payment has been given. Students are encouraged to read the Career Academy Student Policy online to ensure that they are aware of their rights and responsibilities as a student with the Academy. Cancellations within 10 days of receiving your Log in Email will be entitled to a full money back guarantee. Refunds will only be processed on the 20th of the month. If you cancel after this time, you will be liable to pay the full amount outstanding. Requests for course cancellations must be made by filling in this online form.

Enquiries & feedback

You will receive a complementary phone consultation with a course adviser when you request an Information Pack. The information you submit is secure and will not be sold for commercial purposes. You will also be automatically added to our eNews database if you make an enquiry with The Career Academy. Please advise our administrator if you do not want to receive updates from The Career Academy.

The Career Academy really appreciates the feedback that you provide on completion of your course and uses this for course improvement and marketing purposes. Please let our administrator know if you would prefer that we did not use your feedback for marketing purposes

How long do I have to complete my course?

Students have 6 months to complete their Certificate or Advanced in Xero or MYOB course and 12 months to complete most Advanced Certificate and Pathway courses. However, some Pathways are 18 months in duration.

Payment plan terms & conditions

If you elect to pay via Payment Plan, you are deemed to have accepted DebitSuccess terms and conditions.

There is a one-off payment plan establishment fee of $50 which will be added to your payment plan balance.

Course material

You will receive your welcome email and online Totara login details to access your course content within 1 business day.

Privacy Statement

We collect personal information from you, including information about your:

  • Name
  • Contact information
  • Billing or purchase information

We collect your personal information in order to enrol you in our courses. 

Besides our staff, we share this information with our associated agencies as required to process student memberships and debt collection agencies should the need arise.

We keep your information safe by storing it securely and only allowing appropriately trained staff and relevant government authorities to access it.

Is the Career Academy a RTO?

No, the Career Academy is not an RTO as we focus on industry accredited course and partner with providers such as Xero, MYOB, AAT, International Association of Bookkeepers, Institute of Hospitality, etc.

Is The Career Academy Registered Internationally?

Yes – The Career Academy Australia is Internationally Approved and Registered by IARC. 

IARC consists of a Committee Board of accomplished education professionals and a growing network of members. The committee work to endorse quality education courses in the international market. Their primary purpose is to provide a simple recognition system for distinguishing quality, post-secondary education including vocational, distance, adult and continuing education. The Career Academy is a member of IARC and has therefore been recognised by them as a provider of quality education.
